Ø The Master Data Management (MDM): This E-Government System is a set of processes and tools that consistently define and manage the non-transactional data entities of the ministry or ministries (also called reference data). In some cases, this can be ministerial departments and parastatals.

The system functions as an expert and decision support system. The MDM will provide processes for collecting, aggregating, matching, consolidating, quality-assuring, persisting and distributing such data throughout the ministry to ensure consistency and control in the ongoing maintenance and application (including real-time application where applicable) use of this information. As the policy and sector focal point, the ministry can have real-time information from the relevant departments and state corporations to facilitate effective planning and decision making. |

Ø Partner Reporting System: The Partner Planning and Reporting System (PPRS) is a three-step planning and reporting process. The first step is the registration the partner organization or department. The second step is the development and submission of the partner/departmental operational plans, which define activities, to be implemented during the fiscal year, along with the associated activity descriptions, funding levels, indicator targets, implementing sub-partners and reporting schedules. The third step is the development and submission of the periodical progress reports, which document results achieved and funds obligated by activity as defined in the partner operational plans. |
